David's career began in college at UMass Dartmouth, where his cooking hobby developed into his first job at a college bistro. From there he began transitioning into various aspects of catering and event production, and over the years he has carved out a diverse set of skills in the kitchen, on the floor, behind the bar, and finally, in the office. David enjoys the spirit of camaraderie and the team effort that comes with working in the culinary events field. "Working with food opened the door for me, but once I worked the events and saw the depth of planning, organization, and personal involvement that is required, I became more intrigued," he says. "Moving into the planning side of the business has allowed me to gain that knowledge and grants me a personal satisfaction that I think is hard to come by today in the working world."
